A plastic (PP) hydraulic oil filter press uses food-grade polypropylene plates closed by a hydraulic cylinder instead of a manual screw. It is about 50% lighter than a cast-iron filter, corrosion-free, and the usual choice for new oil mill plants. Plate sizes run from 320 to 630 mm.
